Weekend Update
I want to apologize for being late with this post. I have had a busy two days and I have not been able to get this part of my Mondays done. This past weekend went great. We had decided to use a stage prop, which worked great. I really think it got everyones attention and made them visually see what Kent was talking about. We had 2 people go to the back during the invitation, that is what it's all about right there!! As a reminder "The Plunge" is coming up in a few weeks!! Also, next week we start our Connection Groups, lets pray that these go well and the leaders follow God's will not their own gain. And pray that these groups reach the people and make an impact on where they are in their lives. I also wanted to let all of you who have teenagers or if you yourself are one, we getting ready to start our youth group, so get ready!!

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say how much I enjoy your music on Sundays! I love to sing along and pretend I'm a rocker too :) Have you ever thought of posting the songs for the next weeks services? Then we could check them out before hand and know the songs and feel more confident to join in before the last chorus. Just a thought. Keep up the great work and worship.

The only reason I don't post the songs prior to the weekend is as of right now we only do 1 new song a week. Everything else we have sung before. I also like don't like ruining the surprise. If I start posting the song after awhile people will only come on the Sundays that we play the songs they like. Thanks for the input, I love hearing from people who get to hear the service and happy to know that it draws people to God.
